[News] 3rd Annual Apple Taste Testing Event – Friday Oct. 30th at 1:00 P.M.

On Friday, October 30th, we will have our 3rd Annual Apple Taste Testing event! The children will have an opportunity to test the smell, taste, texture, and juiciness of 10 different varieties of apples. They will judge each “mystery” apple on the strength of their smell, sweetness or sourness, crunchy or mushy texture, and whether or not each apple slice is juicy or dry. The students will rate each variety and select their favorite from the bunch. The big surprise happens at the end when each “mystery” apple type is revealed.

Here is a list of the apples from our 2nd Annual Event

Cortland
Red Delicious
Braeburn
Golden Delicious
Honey Crisp
Jazz
Pink Lady
Granny Smith
Fuji
Macinstosh

I wonder what they will be this year? Maybe there will be some new additions…
