2) Meteor Multiplication- Click on the link to the left. Set your range for 1 to 10. Spend about 10 minutes here…
3) Dollar Dive- for instructions on how to play look below on this page to 11/14. Spend about 5-10 minutes here…
4) Symmetry Activity- This is new but I showed it to you yesterday. Give it a try! Start with “Complete a Pattern”. There is a picture below for where you should click!
If there is extra time, and Mr. Cranston feels that some of you are doing a great job with the sites, you can try to create a pattern on the symmetry site.
12/2/08- Tuesday- D- Day
I found a couple new websites that I would like for you to try today.
1) Telling Time with Max and Molly
Try the MEDIUM level
For this website make sure to follow the instructions for telling time. It is more than just recognizing the time. You will need to figure out the time till or from another time.
2) Fish ‘Em Up
For this site you will need to figure out the proper word ending! Follow all of the on screen directions.
3) Noun Dunk
Choose whether a word is a common, proper, or not a noun.
Type in your name, and pull the lever to recieve a story starter. Find the one you like best and write it down on your index card for writing time later today!
11/24/08- Monday- A- Day
Please visit the First Thanksgiving Website.
While there I would like for you to click on Voyage on the Mayflower
To begin the journey click the start button. You can listen to the sections as they go along or you can click on the blue buttons to hear portions of the trip again. After you are done with the journey make sure to check out the ship!
2) Daily Life
Read and listen about the daily life of the colonists and the Native Americans. Compare and contrast the different type of housing for the Pilgrims and Wampanoag.

11/14/08- Friday- A-Day
1) Please practice “Stop the Clock” for 5-10 Minutes. Try to set the best time possible! If you are doing very good at “Stop the Clock” then try telling time using this game! http://www.harcourtschool.com/activity/telling_time_gr2/
2) Design your own Bill! Spend 5-10 Minutes designing your own bill.
3) Try the game Dollar Dive.
For this game you will need to move the pig back and forth to send bubbles to the coins you need. Here is a picture I snapped with some labels. You can click on the picture as well to get to the game.

4) The last 10 minutes can be free choice. You must play a game or do an activity from our classroom website!

In the computer lab today we will finish typing our acrostic poems and start a Halloween journal entry. I will meet with you in groups of 5 to share with you the audio recording software that we will use to record our poems!

1) Try the “Save the Turtle Game” <——– click here! (5-10 Minutes)
2) Practice your typing skills with “Dance Mat Typing” <———- click here! (10 – 15 Minutes)
3) Try Level 1 of the activity “Place the State” <——- click here! (5 – 10 Minutes)
After you place the state you can click on the Ben and the Map to find more information about the state!
4) Try and make a Halloween/Fall Scene with Kerpoof! <——- click here! (10 – 15 Minutes)
a) Choose a background just like I did yesterday
b) Decorate the background with some halloween/fall objects (You can search at the bottom for new objects)
c) Practice resizing and moving your creations
d) Try adding speech bubbles
- If you have added something that you would like to remove all you need to do is move it all the way out of the scene and it will go away.
